Since 1900 we have been providing religious and spiritual materials to blind and visually impaired people in their required formats in order for them to be able to learn about, develop, and practice their Faith. Some of our braille books in particular can often cost well over $500, taking up to 6 months to produce. On a weekly basis, Xavier Society for the Blind ships reading materials to people all over the United States and throughout the world, free-of-charge thanks to the generosity of our donors. We do not receive any federal or state funding.
